Malpe port assault case: Two more accused granted bail by HC

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi

Udupi, Mar 29: The Karnataka high court on Friday ordered the release of two accused, Parvathi and Leela, in connection with the assault case at Malpe fishing harbor.

The court granted them conditional bail after hearing their petition challenging their arrest.

Meanwhile, the anticipatory bail plea of another accused is still under consideration.

Despite the high court’s clear directive for their immediate release, any delay in execution is unjustified, said former minister Pramod Madhwaraj. He urged authorities to ensure the accused are freed without further delay.
