Kuwait, Mar 30: Kuwait Canara Welfare Association (KCWA) held its Extra-Ordinary General Body Meeting on Friday, March 28, 2025, at the Indian School of Excellence, Salmiya. The meeting commenced with an opening prayer led by Veena Serrao. The primary agenda was the election of the new Executive Committee for the 2025–2027 term.
KCWA president Naveen Valerian Mascarenhas welcomed all the members present and expressed his gratitude to the members, committee members and their families, donors, and sponsors for their unwavering support during his tenure. General secretary Reena Pereira presented the minutes of the last general body meeting held on February 28, 2025, while Praveen Fernandes presented the audited financial report.























President Naveen Valerian Mascarenhas highlighted the association’s achievements during his 2023–2025 term. Spiritual director Fr Avil Rosario lauded KCWA’s contributions in his address.

The gathering applauded the newly elected committee. Incoming president Prakash Godwin Pinto thanked the members and sought their support and cooperation for a successful tenure. The new committee took an oath to uphold the motto of KCWA.
