Mangaluru/Udupi, Mar 31: The city of Mangaluru and Udupi district witnessed a heartfelt celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr as the Muslim community gathered in mosques and open prayer grounds on Monday, March 31, marking the end of the sacred month of Ramadan. The air was filled with devotion, joy, and a strong sense of unity as worshippers offered special Namaz, embracing the spiritual significance of the occasion.
Draped in elegant traditional attire, families and friends came together to share the essence of Eid, exchanging greetings and strengthening communal bonds. The festival, symbolizing the completion of a month of fasting, prayer, and reflection, was observed with immense reverence.

Eid prayers resonated across Mangaluru at prominent mosques, including Eidgah Masjid at Light House Hill Road and Jamia Masjid in Kudroli, among others.
The Muslim community in Udupi participated and offered Namaz at the mosques in large numbers. The mosques in Gangolli, Udupi city, Kaup, Kundapur and other parts of district saw a large participation of the faithful.
Alongside the religious observances, heartfelt prayers were offered for global peace, prosperity, and well-being, reinforcing the festival’s message of gratitude and compassion.
As Mangaluru basked in the joy of Eid-ul-Fitr, the celebrations stood as a testament to faith, harmony, and the enduring spirit of togetherness.
