Udupi, Mar 31: In a significant development, Prof Dr Radhakrishna S Aithal has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of all educational institutions under the SSVMET and SVHSES Udupi which includes the engineering, management, nursing colleges, PU College and Schools.

Prof Dr Aithal brings over 38 years of extensive experience in academia to this new leadership role. He was previously the principal and director of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), where he contributed immensely to the growth and development of the institution for over three years. Additionally, Prof Dr Aithal served as the director of the International Centre for Applied Sciences at Manipal, further honing his expertise in the field of education.

Under his able leadership, SSVMET and SVHSES institutions are expected to reach new heights of academic excellence and innovation. "We are very confident that all our institutions will be elevated to the next level under Prof Dr Aithal's capable guidance," a spokesperson from SSVMET stated.
