Why not the ground in Panambur be developed as international vricket ground? It is ideally location near NH and easily accessible for all. By the by we need more details about this academy. Are they taking up cricket coaching through qualified coaches? If so can one enroll their children? Fee structure etc

The Mangalore United Cricket Academy has to keep a broad mind open for creation of an excellent turf cricket field within the city limit. The present fish market and the adjoining bus station should be moved away from the current location so that the Nehru Maidan is totally dedicated for the sports and recreation activities with suitable car parking facilities. The entire space from Government Arts College upto the D.C. office should be transformed into a Hyde Park with the best of modern facilities for recreation and sports. The entire concept should be privatized so that private funds can be diverted for worthy causes that will bring tremendous scope of economic, social and recreational boost for the City. Mangalore truly deserves a "face lift" and the entire Hampankatta should bring a change of outlook for Mangalore in the years to come. The present Town Hall needs a complete change. Mangalore has all the potentials including some of the best people with a bright vision. This is the time to think and plan for a long term progress.

The recently organized Youth Festival is a classic example how Mangalore can bring progress and success that will attract more tourists, more hotels and restaurants, and most importantly greater fun than ever before.

State Govt should construct a full fledged international cricket stadiums at Mangalore and Hubli.

It is heard Govt is mulling to build a big cricket stadium in the outskirts of Bangalore..

Come out of Bangalore! There is a big Karnataka outside Bangalore.. Let other people also get a chance to play, watch and enjoy cricket in the stadium..

surprised to read half cooked news.Shame upon these political promises and assurances. Already there a cricket stadium work has begun at Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management at Adyar, Pitch is inspected by authorities and the stadium is for world class cricket, starting with Ranaji matches. May the big officials who poised for photo kindly pay a visit.
