Mumbai, Apr 2: India is set for an action-packed home season in 2025, hosting West Indies for a two-Test series before taking on South Africa in all three formats from October to December.
The season kicks off with the first Test against West Indies in Ahmedabad on October 2, followed by the second and final Test at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, from October 10. The Caribbean side last played a Test series in India in 2018, where they faced a 2-0 defeat.
South Africa’s tour begins with two Tests, the first in New Delhi on November 14, followed by the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati hosting its maiden Test match from November 22.
The Proteas will then face India in a three-match ODI series, with games scheduled in Ranchi, Raipur, and Vizag. The month-long tour concludes with a five-match T20I series in Cuttack, Mullanpur, Dharamsala, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad. These matches will serve as vital preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup in March 2026, set to be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
