Mangaluru: Four arrested for illegal cattle transportation in Mulky

Mangaluru, Apr 3: The Bajpe police arrested four individuals in connection with the illegal transportation of 19 cattle from Moodbidri to Kaikamba via Suralpadi.

The arrested accused have been identified as Arafath Ali (36) from 62nd Tokuru village in Mangaluru taluk, Mohammad Afrid (27), Abdul Nazir (31) from Pranthya village in Moodbidri taluk, and Farees Saldanha from Perantadka Kashipatna in Beltangady taluk.

The operation was carried out by Bajpe inspector Sandeep, PSI Revan Siddappa, PSI Mallikarjun from Kavoor police station, along with personnel from the Bajpe crime detection unit and the Mangaluru North crime detection unit.
