Mangaluru, Apr 3: Spoorthi Charitable Trust, Vamanjoor, in collaboration with the School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya, Mangaluru MSW Section, conducted an awareness program on Mobile Addiction and Child Rights at Holy Angels Primary School, Permannur, Thokottu.
The session, held on Thursday, April 3 aimed to educate students on the negative effects of excessive mobile phone use and the importance of child rights. Renita Lewis, the resource person, elaborated on how mobile addiction impacts child development and emphasized the significance of safeguarding child rights.



The event, attended by 105 students, proved to be an enlightening experience for the young minds. Sr Priya, SRA, compered the program, ensuring its smooth execution.
Such initiatives play a vital role in creating awareness among children about the responsible use of technology and their rights, contributing to their holistic development.
