Mangaluru, Apr 3: The grand offertory procession for the Mahakumbabhisheka and Kolotsava of Srimantha Raja Guliga Kshetra Mudumane Bandale, led by dharmadharshi Sathish Poojary Bandale, took place on Thursday, April 3, starting from Durga Katte, Padavinangady, and culminating at Bandale Raja Guliga Kshetra.
The five-day festivities, from April 3 to 7, commenced with a puja ritual at Durga Katte, Padavinangady, before the procession.























Key rituals include Chandika Yaga, Nagadarshana Seve, bhajana, and Durga Namaskara, scheduled for April 5. The formal function will be graced by dignitaries such as Sri Rajashekarananda Swamiji of Vajradehi Math, Ganjimath, spiritual guru Dr M J Praveen Bhat from Mumbai, entrepreneur Dr Kanyana Sadashiva Shetty, MLA Vedavyas Kamath, Umanath Kotian, Dr Bharath Y Shetty, MP Capt Brijesh Chowta, and corporator Sangeetha R Nayak, among others.
The event line-up includes a Tulu drama, Kathe Yedeundu, by Sharadha Arts Kalavidaru, Manjeshwar, on April 4. The Mahakumbabhisheka and Sri Devi Mahatme Yakshagana, presented by Patla Sathish Shetty’s Pavanje Mela, are scheduled for April 5.
April 6 will feature a series of rituals throughout the day, culminating in the grand Kolotsava celebration at Sri Kshetra Raja Guliga, Mudumane Bandale, Pacchanady, on April 7.
Hindu leader Satyajith Surathkal, Lokesh Kodikere, former mayor Jayanand Anchan, social activist Mohan Pacchanady, Hindu leaders Balkrishna Kukyan, Shekar Padavinangady, Rama Mugrody, actor Raj Pacchanady, Keerthi Prasad, Jagadish Munda Poojary, and others were present.
