Future in focus: Interactive session with district highest ranking officials at Expert PU College

Mangaluru, Apr 7: Expert PU College Valachil hosted a panel discussion for its students with district high-ranking officials on Sunday.

Dr Mullai Muhilan M P, IAS, deputy commissioner, Dakshina Kannada district, expressed his deep concern for the students and emphasised the importance of having a proper routine, letting go of past worries, enjoying the present life with discipline, and pursuing passions.

Anupam Agarwal, IPS, commissioner of police, Mangaluru, stated that concentration and determination are key to achieving success in competitive examinations. He also advised students to avoid addictions and distractions, as momentary pleasures can spoil a lifetime.

Dr Anand K, IAS, CEO, of Zilla Panchayat, Mangaluru, explained that while professional education focuses on a specific field, administrative services can impact all kinds of people. He urged students to value a consistent routine work to avoid uncertainty in life.

Yathish N, IPS, superintendent of police, Dakshina Kannada district, shared that life is a blend of many aspects, where hard work and discipline are inseparable. He encouraged students to choose the right path to achieve success.

Prof Narendra L Nayak, chairman of Expert Group of Institutions, Mangaluru, presented a sapling to each of them. He expressed his happiness in bringing these stalwarts on one stage and described the event as a historic moment in the 38 years of Expert PU College.

Dr. Ushaprabha N Nayak, vice chairperson of Expert Group of Institutions spoke on the occasion.

Ankush N Nayak, director of information technology at Expert Group of Institutions, moderated the interactive session and proposed the vote of thanks.

Druthi V Hegde, vice principal (Admin), welcomed the gathering and compered the programme.

Architect Deepak A Nayak, Dr N K Viyayan Karippal, principal of Expert PU College Valachil, Subramanya Udupa, vice principal (Academics), and other faculty members were present on the occasion.

At the end of the session, students asked a wide range of questions, which were answered by the panelists.
