Udupi, Apr 9: In a remarkable academic achievement, Jeston Dais has secured the 9th rank at the state level in the recently announced Pre-University Course (PUC) second-year science stream results in Karnataka. The talented student scored an impressive 98.5% to attain this prestigious ranking.
Jeston, hails from Bennekudru, Barkur. He is the son of educator couple Charlotte and James Dias, who are both teachers by profession.
This exceptional accomplishment adds to the family's legacy of academic excellence. Just two years ago, Jeston's elder sister, Jeswita Dais, had also brought honour to the family by securing the second rank at the state level in the science stream of the Karnataka PUC examinations.
