Sri Bhuvanendra PU College students secure 7th , 10th ranks in state PU board examination

Karkala, Apr 10: Sri Bhuvanendra Pre-University College, Karkala has achieved remarkable success in the 2024-25 II PUC examinations, with two students securing 7th and 10th ranks in state.

In the Commerce stream, student Annapoorna Kamath secured an impressive 593 marks, earning her the 7th rank in the state. In the Science stream, Keerthana scored 590 marks and achieved the 10th rank in the state.

A total of nine students from the college scored above 580 marks. In the Science stream, M Karthik Kudva secured 588 marks, Pratiksha Prabhu 587, Amulya A M 581, and Siddharth Kamath K G 580. In the Commerce stream, Srushti B G scored 586, Shreya 585, and Shree Vidya R J secured 580 marks. In the Arts stream, Spandana K S scored 570, Sinchana K S 564, and Deekshith R Naik achieved 562 marks.

Out of the 262 students who appeared for the examination, 80 students passed with distinction, 159 with first class, and 16 with second class. The Commerce stream stood out with 100% results, as all 95 students who appeared passed successfully.

The management of Sri Bhuvanendra PU College, including the president and secretaries of the Academy of General Education, the principal, and the teaching and non-teaching staff, have congratulated the students on their outstanding achievements and extended their best wishes for future success.
