Udupi: Renowned Mission Hospital doctor Ganesh Kamath passes away at 71

Udupi, Apr 11: Dr Ganesh Kamath (71), a senior physician at Lombard Memorial Hospital (Mission Hospital) and a resident of Katapady, passed away at his residence last night following a severe heart attack.

For the past ten years, Dr Kamath had been selflessly serving thousands of patients at the Mission Hospital in Udupi without taking a single day of leave. His demise is an irreplaceable loss to the hospital. “Dr Ganesh Kamath served as our senior medical consultant with utmost dedication,” said Dr Sushil Jathanna, managing director of the hospital.

He is survived by his wife, a son, and a large extended family.
