Hyderabad, Apr 11: In a shocking incident, a class 7 student allegedly attacked a teacher with an iron rod after being caught copying during an examination, police sources said on Friday.

The incident occurred on Wednesday when the teacher noticed the 15-year-old boy indulging in malpractice during the test and instructed him to shift to another seat. Feeling insulted by the action, the student is said to have picked up an iron rod used for ringing the school bell and hit the teacher.

Though the teacher sustained injuries, they were not serious, officials confirmed.

A case has been registered in this connection. The minor boy is expected to be produced before the Juvenile Justice Board, police added.

Parents have to take the blame for these young ones' behaviour. These days children are not taught anything about morality and responsibility. I am sure somebody will blame so called Western culture for everything though these incidents hardly happens in Western world. when the child is wrong, tell them they are WRONG. If they only heard praises from parents/relatives, they find it hard to swallow when someone tells them that they are wrong. parents also might be bad example by covering their fault with the influence or money power.
