Mangaluru Apr 17: This Sunday, April 20, an extraordinary celebration — The Grand Easter Ball — will take place at Edgewater from 5 pm onwards. Far more than just another party, the event is being hailed as a movement.
Powered by Vertex Workspace and Astra Productions, and supported by ASsound & Lightings, the celebration is being hosted by Fishing Cactus and meticulously organized by the dynamic duo Hera Pinto and Lloyd Denzil. The event is designed to offer something for everyone — from children to adults.
For children, an exciting Easter Egg Hunt is planned, filled with surprises, goodies, and abundant fun — a day of wonder and joy encouraging kids to explore, discover, and simply enjoy being children.
Adults will also have their share of excitement with an exclusive Golden Egg Hunt, where the lucky winner will walk away with half a gram of gold, along with other attractive prizes.
Music lovers can look forward to a lively evening as Goa’s very own band ‘Shine On’ takes the stage with an electrifying performance. Adding to the musical experience, Band Zenith, a talented group of young musicians from Mangaluru, will deliver a soulful musical journey.
This special musical segment, conceptualized by Gloria Viegas, centers around the healing power of music. It serves as a tribute to those navigating the chaos of life — be it youth or parents — and aims to help rediscover purpose and healing through the unity of melody and shared experience. The essence of Easter — hope, rebirth, and togetherness — lies at the heart of this segment.
A solo performance by Oline Theodore will add a mesmerizing touch to the evening, followed by DJ Sujay, who will keep the energy high with his electrifying tracks.
Hosting the evening will be the vibrant MC Lavita and one of the event’s organizers, Hera Pinto.
