Muliya – Gold & Diamonds redefines luxury with flagship showroom and new brand identity in Puttur

Media Release

Puttur, Apr 20: In a grand celebration held on Sunday, April 20, Muliya – Gold & Diamonds unveiled its new brand identity and inaugurated its revamped flagship showroom in Puttur — now the largest jewellery showroom in Dakshina Kannada, spanning over 10,270 sq ft across four floors.

The event was graced by renowned Kannada actor and Muliya’s brand ambassador, Ramesh Aravind, who officially inaugurated the newly renovated showroom amidst an enthusiastic crowd of customers and dignitaries.

The celebration began with a visit to the Mahalingeshwara Temple, followed by a ceremonial procession carrying the divine lamp to the showroom on Court Road, Puttur. Ramesh Aravind joined the cultural festivities and expressed his pride in being associated with a brand that represents elegance, trust, and legacy.

A new era begins

Established in 1944, Muliya has long been a symbol of heritage and craftsmanship. The newly transformed showroom houses a wide collection of gold, silver, and diamond jewellery, along with premium gift items.

The brand’s transformation isn’t just in space, but in spirit. With the new identity as Muliya – Gold & Diamonds, the company introduced a redesigned logo, a elephant mascot, and a renewed customer promise: “Creating Happiness.”

This transformation is spearheaded by the leadership of chairman and managing director Keshava Prasad Muliya and managing director Krishna Narayana Muliya, who continue to drive the brand forward with vision, innovation, and customer-centric values.

A showroom like no other

In a first-of-its-kind initiative in the region, the new showroom offers complimentary meals and refreshments to customers:

- Lunch: 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm

- Evening snacks: 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm

Customer experience is further enhanced with:

- A dedicated play and care room for children

- Valet parking services

- Separate counters for Silveriya (silver collection) and Amuliya (diamond collection)

- A Gold Purity Analyser (EDX 2800) for transparency

- India’s first customer-facing CVD diamond testing system to help to detect the source of the diamond in the era of lab grown diamonds

This expansion reinforces Muliya’s position as a pioneer in offering a luxurious, transparent, and family-friendly jewellery shopping experience.

A spark reimagined – new logo, mascot & tagline

As part of its rebranding, Muliya introduced a refined logo that reflects its timeless elegance, paired with a powerful new tagline: “Creating Happiness.” This phrase captures the brand’s emotional connect with customers — turning every purchase into a cherished experience.

The identity also features a charming white elephant mascot, symbolizing strength, heritage, trust, and wealth — qualities deeply embedded in Muliya’s journey.

The brand revamp was guided by Venu Sharma, brand & marketing consultant, whose strategic insight helped shape Muliya’s evolution for the next generation.

The creative execution was led by the web people, a Puttur-based digital and branding agency under the leadership of Aditya Kalluraya and Sharath Srinivas, who crafted the new identity and visual language with cultural depth and modern appeal.

Continuing a sparkling legacy

With over 81 years of legacy, the Muliya Group remains committed to evolving with time while holding on to the values that have made it a household name across Karnataka. The inauguration of the new showroom marks not just an expansion, but a celebration of the brand’s commitment to innovation, customer delight, and timeless elegance.
