Udupi: BJP expels district office-bearers Uday Kotian, Kamalaksha Hebbar for six years

Media Release

Udupi, Apr 21: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expelled Udupi district BJP secretary Uday Kotian and District BJP Raitha Morcha President Kamalaksha Hebbar from the party for six years.

The expulsion comes in the wake of both leaders contesting the elections of the Dakshina Kannada Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation (KMF) against the official party decision.

Terming their actions as anti-party activities, the BJP has taken strict action by removing them from the party's primary membership for a period of six years with immediate effect.
