Tumkur: Ran a Circus Company as Chief Minister - Yeddyurappa

Tumkur, Jan 20 (DHNS): It is now clear former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa has not given up his ambition to reclaim the post he had to give up five months ago.

Yeddyurappa said he was not a saint to say he does not want to be the chief minister again. “The issue is left to the high command. I have dreams to make Karnataka a model state,” he said, after inaugurating a drinking water project for Gulur-Hebbur hoblis at Honnudike village in the taluk on Thursday.

“I virtually ran a circus company during my three and half years as chief minister. I had to do a tightrope walk during the period. While the Congress and the JD(S) tormented me, I also faced problems from my own people,” he said.

Yeddyurappa said he would remain strong for the next 15 years and that he would not sit quiet, but work for the good of society.

'I need your blessings'

He told the people that he had risen to the post of the chief minister from being just a town municipal council member. “I can reach any height, provided I have your blessings,” he said.

He claimed to have sanctioned many projects for at least 100 taluks out of the 115 taluks identified as backward in the Nanjundappa Committee report.

Lingayat seers meet BSY

More than 20 Lingayat seers, especially from North Karnataka, met former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa at the latter’s residence in Bangalore on Thursday evening and held discussions with him.

While the seers termed their visit a “courtesy call,” political observers feel that it is a well-timed move by Yeddyurappa to consolidate his losing grip over the party.

Yeddyurappa as chief minister had heaped largesse on the Lingayat mutts as part of a strategy to strengthen his base and has now sought their support in return. The former chief minister has been making contradictory statements on the leadership issue and his role in the party ever since he stepped down from the helm in July last, following corruption charges. Last year, the Lingayat seers had rallied behind Yeddyurappa at a time when the Central leadership was contemplating to change the leadership in the State.

Circus company as per BS Yeddy. His first 2 initials say it all. Party is full of Clowns and Elephants Riders. Most visible person in a Circus Show is the man behind the Elephants with a bucket and scoop in hand. So any one can guess who is this man in this sleezy Circus Company.

Yeddy is like " THE GODFATHER" of the Karnataka politics. i remember the famous quote from this movie " keep your friends close, but your enemies closer." . 1st make donations and when the right time comes , ask for votes and support .

and yes , you where really running a circus company , and no one can deny the fact that you where the Joker of that circus .

The lion ran away with the flesh (Reddy brothers ran away with illegally looted iron ore), the tiger ran away with the carcass of Karnataka people (Katta Subramanya Naidu looted tens of crores of rupees through KIADB) and so on. This party is nothing but a circus - which keeps people entertained with its theatrics - but alas the Congress is unable to take advantage of that because it is riddled and mired in corruption as well. What is the hope for India ?

Yeddy is correct, he was running a Circus. He had to keep balancing. His balancing act was long. He used so many balancing methods. Operation Kamala, generously donate to the mutts and temples. Close eyes when churches were attacked, kick out Shobakka, bring back Shobakka, keep reddy bros happy by giving the Republic of Bellary to them, in the mean while give as much land and power to his kith and kin, not forgetting to give all the facilities to his Master Sangh, try to protect Gomatha but no worry for people who lost everything due to floods, and so on but Hegde had no mercy on a person who was cought in the circus, now want to tame the Lion who he thought was a cat .....

No doubt BJP made huge development Projects in various fields but now I fear that this Yeddy and Shobhakka Team will pull down the first ever South BJP Government. This will give useless Congress or JDS Government another chance to say that other than Congress or JDS Government nobody can run the business as usual!!!!!!! Yeddy is so ambitious that he will go pillar to post to get back the supreme power in Karnataka Government at any cost too

BJP High command will not give him second chance. They are not like congress leaders... There is a difference between BJP and Congress

So your request will not be accepted by BJP HIGH Command.

You go to Sonia Madam and request a second chance to Kalmadi, she will consider it...

The real developmental work has begun after Mr.Gowda became CM. I hope the speed of developmental works gets momentum once the inner problems of the party get solved. At least for the period of 18 months Mr. Yeddy should shut his mouth & co- operate with CM Mr. Gowda. No political party in India praise worthy.

Sir for circus company Joker is a must .. But how you will manage there are many jokers and all competitors will start fighting for Joker post now!!!
Yeddy saab we already realized your power hunger tactics .. you tried to make DVS a bakra and it didn't workout upto some extent. You are such a cheap person you even started pulling leg of DVS. Before thinking of your own pocket , think of the people who elected your party. Give some chance for DVS to mask your mistakes and give some good governance in the state. Now things are little recovering after you are thrown out .. please support DVS and prove your true color. Please come out clean from all allegation of crore against you.Good Luck DVS.

Ran a circus company that too at a very high profit, looting the govt treasury and making fool of general public of the State. The greed of power can do anything and to retain the position what Yeddyji had is a herculian task at the prevailing circumstances. The blessings from the High Command is the base to reach peak and blessings from aam admi is secondary here.
