Saudi Arabia, Apr 27: Praveen Peter Aranha has been elected as the new president of the Mangalore Association of Saudi Arabia (MASA) for the 2025–2026 term during its 18th annual celebration.
MASA, formed on October 22, 2006, was established with the aim of serving noble causes. Over the years, MASA has not only emerged as a platform for social service but also nurtured talent in arts, culture, sports, leadership, and communication. Today, it stands tall as an inclusive organization, welcoming people from all castes, creeds, and religions across Saudi Arabia.


Praveen Peter Aranha, who works as finance chief at GAC and studied at St Aloysius College, Mangaluru, resides in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Reflecting on his journey, Praveen shared that he joined MASA in 2008 and has since served in various capacities, including head of the sports committee, entertainment committee, treasurer, deputy general secretary, and vice president.
Expressing his vision, Praveen said he is committed to fulfilling the MASA motto, “Service to humanity is worship to God.” As a non-profit organization, MASA’s primary objective remains extending support to the needy, particularly Kannadigas residing in Saudi Arabia.
MASA also plans to spearhead initiatives through the Indian Embassy in Riyadh to secure better aviation services, educational facilities, and other essential services for the benefit of Kannadigas in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
