Hebri: Youth dies after slipping into Seethanadi river

Hebri, Apr 27: A tragic incident was reported from Hebri taluk on April 26, where a youth accidentally slipped and drowned in the Seethanadi River at Thingale.

The deceased has been identified as Sanketh Shetty (24), son of Sudhakar Shetty, a resident of Kinny Gudde in Hebri.

It is said that Sanketh had gone to the river along with his friends when he slipped and drowned.

He was employed in the rehabilitation division for persons with disabilities under the Hebri Gram Panchayat and was actively involved in various organisations, including Hebri JCI. He was known for his ever-smiling nature and friendly demeanour with everyone.
