Kasargod: Private buses collide; 12 injured

Kasargod, Apr 27: Twelve people were injured in a collision between two private buses at Bank Road in Kasargod on Sunday, April 27 evening.

The accident occurred when a tourist bus and a bus operating between Madhur and Kasargod collided head-on. Firefighters and local citizens rescued the injured and shifted them to various hospitals.

Private bus driver Kamalaksha sustained serious injuries.

Others injured include Swapna (49) from Mannippady, Mustafa (40) from Alampady, Abbas (66) from Patla, Safir (40), the tourist bus driver from Vidyanagar, Abdul Rahman (50) from Alampady, Suresh (49) from Meepuguri, and Saraswathi (57) from Uliyathadka, among others.
