Jaipur, Apr 29: In what promises to be a star-studded and politically significant affair, Prabal Singh Tomar, son of senior BJP leader and Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, is all set to wed Arundhati Singh Rajawat in a grand ceremony today at Jaipur’s iconic Jai Mahal Palace.
Arundhati hails from a distinguished family in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. She is the granddaughter of Thakur Bhanu Pratap Singh Rajawat, a former BJP state minister. The wedding marks the union of two powerful political families from Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
The guest list reads like a who’s who of Indian politics and entertainment. Chief Ministers from several states, senior BJP leaders from the Centre, and Bollywood stars including Arbaaz Khan, Suniel Shetty, and Sonu Sood are expected to grace the lavish celebrations.
Pre-wedding festivities were hosted with grandeur in Gwalior. The 'Haldi' and 'Mehndi' rituals were held on April 26, followed by a vibrant Sangeet night on April 27 that featured electrifying performances by Bollywood diva Jacqueline Fernandez and popular singer B. Praak.
The wedding will be followed by an 'Aashirwad' ceremony on May 4 in Gwalior, where political dignitaries and family members will bless the newlyweds.
This celebration comes close on the heels of another political high-profile wedding — that of Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s son, U. Kartikey Chouhan, who tied the knot at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace in March. His grand wedding too saw the presence of numerous political leaders, business tycoons, and Bollywood stars.
All eyes are now on Jaipur, as the Pink City prepares for yet another royal-style wedding that blends political legacy with cultural splendour.
