Udupi, Apr 29: At the 44th National Masters Athletic Championship organized by the Veteran Athletic Federation of India at the Chamundi Vihar Stadium in Mysuru, retired Udupi teacher Jaya Tantri K secured the silver medal in the hammer throw event in the 60 plus age category.
With this impressive performance, Jaya Tantri has earned selection to represent India at the international level, marking a proud moment for Udupi and Karnataka.
