Lorry overturns at Nekkilady in Puttur; driver injured

Puttur, Apr 30: In a road mishap reported at Nekkilady 34th ward, a lorry transporting soft drinks overturned on the roadside, leaving the driver injured.

The incident occurred when the lorry, which was ferrying crates of soft drinks, reportedly went out of the driver's control and toppled on one side of the road. The driver sustained injuries in the accident and was given immediate medical attention.

Following the mishap, the goods from the overturned vehicle were quickly shifted to an alternate vehicle. Efforts were made to recover and lift the lorry back on its wheels later.
