Mangaluru, May 3: In connection with the murder of rowdy-sheeter Suhas Shetty, police have formed four investigation teams that are currently examining assault videos and footage from local CCTV cameras to track down the accused. Police have confirmed that the suspects have already been identified.
Suhas Shetty was brutally murdered by assailants who stabbed him 11 times with lethal weapons. One of the weapons used in the attack, a button dagger, has been recovered by the police. The attackers abandoned the weapon before fleeing the scene. Additionally, two vehicles used by the assailants and the Innova car belonging to Suhas have been seized by the police.

It has come to light that the plan to eliminate Suhas was hatched a month ago as an act of revenge. Both Suhas and the police were reportedly aware of the threat. Due to the warning signs, Suhas had started moving around with companions for safety. Sources suggest that had the police been more alert, the murder might have been prevented.
Meanwhile, the police department has issued a warning for those travelling at night due to work. It has advised the public to avoid isolated areas unless absolutely necessary and to refrain from travelling alone during night hours.
