MIA conducts emergency evacuation drill without disrupting operations

Mangaluru, May 7: Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) on Wednesday successfully conducted an emergency airport evacuation mock drill as part of the National Level Civil Mock Drill initiated by the ministry of Home Affairs across the country.

The exercise, held under the Airport Emergency Operation Plan, aimed to assess preparedness and response capabilities during emergencies. The drill was efficiently coordinated by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and included participation from all airport stakeholders.

Importantly, the drill was carried out without disrupting regular airport operations, ensuring a seamless experience for passengers and staff alike.
