Hyderabad, May 8: In a powerful declaration of national unity and strength, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday warned that any threat to India's sovereignty would be met with an overwhelming response, asserting that the Indian Armed Forces have the capability to erase Pakistan from the world map if provoked.
Speaking at a national solidarity rally against terrorism, Revanth Reddy stated, “If India gave the word, our Armed Forces could ensure Pakistan doesn’t see the next sunrise. Such is the power and courage of our soldiers.”
He made it clear that India’s commitment to peace should never be misread as a sign of weakness. “We are a peace-loving nation, inheritors of Mahatma Gandhi’s values. But if anyone dares to violate our peace or endanger the sindoor of our daughters, they will be met with the wrath of Operation Sindoor,” he declared, referencing the recent precision military strikes conducted by India.

The rally, held from the Secretariat to the Indira Gandhi statue on Necklace Road, saw wide participation from ministers, political leaders across party lines, ex-servicemen, and citizens. Waving the national flag and chanting slogans in support of the Indian Army, the crowd demonstrated collective resolve against terrorism.
The Chief Minister emphasized that national security transcends political boundaries. “All 140 crore Indians are united. When it comes to defending our country, there is no Congress, no BJP — only India,” he said.
Revanth Reddy also revealed that Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to convey full support for India’s stance and action against terrorism sponsored by Pakistan.
Sending a message of resolve from Telangana to the rest of the nation, Revanth said, “India won its freedom through non-violence. Even Pakistan’s very existence owes much to the Gandhian struggle. But let there be no mistake — our love for peace does not mean we are afraid to fight.”
The rally was intended not just as a show of strength, but as a call for national unity and a clear warning to those who underestimate India’s will and capability to defend itself.
