Byndoor, May 9: A Maruti Swift car worth Rs 8 lac that had been parked outside the G N Complex belonging to Govind Rao at Nagoor in Kirimanjeshwara village was reported stolen recently.
Based on a complaint filed by the car owner, Ganesh Acharya, a case had been registered at the Byndoor police station. Acting on the case, a special team was formed under the guidance of Kundapur sub-division deputy superintendent of police H D Kulkarni and Byndoor circle inspector Savitriteja, led by PSI Timmesh B N and Naveen P Borakar of the Byndoor station. The team included station staff Chidanand, Malappa, and personnel from the inspector’s office, including Ravindra.

The team succeeded in tracing the stolen vehicle along with the accused, Pouzan Ahmed. The car was recovered and taken into custody, and the accused was produced before the court. Rakhshak Network and Security Solutions assisted in the operation.
Udupi district superintendent of police Dr Arun K IPS, additional superintendent of police Sudhakar Naik, and Parameshwar Hegde appreciated the efforts of the officers and personnel involved in the operation.
