Traffic diversions imposed along Udupi - Malpe Road on May 10, 11

Udupi, May 9 : Due to ongoing road widening and repair works on National Highway 169A from Karavali Junction to Malpe, a two-day traffic diversion will be implemented on May 10 and 11.

Authorities have informed that one-way traffic regulations will be enforced from 8 am to 8 pm on both days to facilitate roadside clearance operations.

During this period, vehicular movement from Karavali Junction to Malpe will be allowed, but traffic from Malpe towards Udupi will be diverted through alternate routes. This applies to fish-laden trucks, heavy goods vehicles, light motor vehicles, and tourist vehicles.

Diverted routes:

Route 1 - For heavy vehicles and LMVs Malpe Junction → Citizen Circle → Kodavoor → Lakshminagar Cross → Lakshminagar Junction → Ashirvad Nagar → Connect to NH-169A → Proceed towards Udupi.

Route 2 - For two-wheelers and LMVs: Malpe Junction → Kalmadi Junction → Kidiyoor → Kadekar → Kannarpadi Temple → Connect to NH-169A → Proceed towards Udupi.
