Dubai, Jan 22: Rehearsal and preparations are going on in full swing for the Tulu comedy play 'E...Porlu Daye...?' which will be staged by UAE's well-known local artistes on Friday February 3 at the Emirates Theatre, Jumeira English Speaking School, Umm Suqueim, Dubai. The play will begin at 5.30 pm.
The Tulu play will be performed by the same local troupe which has delivered high quality plays in the past such as 'Ganguna Gammath', 'Mastru Manipujer' and 'Benpinori Tinpinori'. This time, the local team will be performing under 'Gammath Kalavider' banner.
Vishwanath Shetty has directed the play and is also in the lead role, and Kethan D'Souza will provide the music. Chief convenor of 'Gammath Kalavider' Vasu Shetty plays the other lead role. Other actors include Asha Correa, Chidananda Poojary, Chitra Prasanna Shetty, Deepak S P, Dony Correa, Harish Kamath, Rajesh Bayar, Nitin Kumar, Rajesh Kuttar, Santosh Poojary, Sunil Suvarna, Suvarna Poojary, Vasu Shetty, Monappa Poojary, Jagath Pal, Divya Pakkala, Satish Ullal and Vincy Lobo.
'Gammath Kalavider' is committed to featuring established as well as aspiring drama artistes from Tulunadu by providing them a platform for presenting dramas.
