Panaji, May 11: A solemn all-faith conference, ‘Sarva Dharma Sadasu’, was held at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan here on Friday, bringing together leaders from various religions in a show of unity and national solidarity.
Heads of religious organisations from Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, Sikhism, and other faiths participated in the gathering, collectively condemning Pakistan’s unethical actions against India. They also expressed their unwavering support to the Indian armed forces and the Union Government in protecting the country’s sovereignty.

Goa governor P S Sreedharan Pillai and Chief Minister Pramod Sawant addressed the assembly. The governor underscored the importance of truth and unity. “Dharma is truth, and truth will always prevail. Ultimately, evil will fail,” he said, calling on citizens to remain united for the nation.
Among the prominent speakers were Padma Shri Adhyatm Shiromani Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji, Fr Lawrence, Fr Noel D’Costa, Gurmej Singh and Maulana Mohammed Irfan Raza. Each conveyed messages of peace, strength and support for the soldiers defending the country at the borders.
The ‘Sarva Dharma Sadasu’ served as a powerful reminder of India’s spiritual resilience and unity, sending a strong message that faith communities stand as one against external threats.
