Mangaluru, May 13: The Karnataka Lokayukta, Mangaluru division, has issued an official alert regarding individuals allegedly impersonating Lokayukta officials in Dakshina Kannada (DK) district. According to sources, these imposters have reportedly been threatening government staff and attempting to influence official decisions for personal gain.

The public is urged to remain vigilant and avoid falling prey to the fraudulent activities of these imposters. Citizens are advised to verify the identity of anyone claiming to represent the Lokayukta through the official website and to be cautious of any suspicious behaviour.

In case of any questionable encounter or if someone approaches claiming to be Lokayukta staff, the public is strongly advised not to share any personal or official information and to avoid complying with any demands. Instead, such incidents should be immediately reported to the Lokayukta office for verification or to the nearest police station to ensure appropriate action is taken.
