Mangaluru: Lokayukta raids residence, office of survey supervisor

Mangaluru, May 15: Lokayukta officials conducted an early morning raid on Thursday at the residence and office of survey supervisor Manjunath in Mangaluru, in connection with allegations of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

The raid was led by the Lokayukta SP, targeting Manjunath’s residence in Bejai, Mangaluru. Officials are thoroughly examining important documents as part of the investigation.

Manjunath, originally from Tumakuru, has been serving in Dakshina Kannada district for the past 23 years. He and his family reside in a three-storey house. On Thursday, Lokayukta officers arrived in three vehicles and began scrutinizing documents related to Manjunath's assets and financial records.

The investigation is ongoing.
