Valedictory ceremony of international conference ‘Icon Youth 2025’ held at Yenepoya

Mangaluru, May 16: "May the benefit of the international conference be for the youth. May it lead to personality development at the global level," said Randeep, IAS, additional chief secretary, department of Youth Empowerment and Sports.

He was speaking at the conclusion of a two-day international conference, Icon Youth - 2025, sponsored by the ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India at Yenepoya Deemed University on May 15 and 16. Chetan R, IPS, commissioner, department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, the government said that this conference contributed to the advancement of knowledge of the young generation.

Vice Chancellor Dr Vijayakumar presided over the function, congratulated the organisers and all those who attended for making the conference a complete success.

Madhish Parikh, founder and director, BRICS Alliance, Dr B T Nandish, controller of examinations, Karthigeyan, regional director, NSS and Dr Pratap Lingaiah, State NSS officer were present.

Organising secretary of the conference Dr Ashwini D Shetty welcomed the dignitaries and presented the report. Dr Divya Rani proposed a vote of thanks. NSS programme officers Priya and Aditya compered the programme. More than 650 youth representatives from India and 5 countries participated in the conference.
