Scheduled power disruption across several Mangaluru localities on May 17

Mangaluru, May 17: Residents in several areas of Mangaluru are set to face scheduled power interruptions on Saturday, May 17, due to maintenance activities and feeder-related works, according to reports.

Power supply will be disrupted from 10 am to 5 pm in areas connected to the 11 kV Pachanady feeder. This includes localities such as Vaidyanathanagara, Shivanagara, Edurupadavu, Pilikula, and Moodushedde.

Similarly, areas under the Adyar feeder—namely Adyar, Valachhil, Arkula, Mermajalu, and Merlapadavu—will also experience a power outage during the same time window.

In addition, several localities powered by the 110/11 kV Gurpur substation are expected to face outages between 10 am and 5:30 pm. Affected areas include Kaikamba, Ganjimath, Kukkatte, Oddoor, Kuppepadavu, Cordel, Margadangadi, and Bellecharu, which draw electricity from the Kaikamba, Kukkatte, Kuppepadavu, and Muchhur feeders.

Residents are advised to plan their day accordingly and take necessary precautions during the outage period.
