Kadaba: Accident victim succumbs to injuries after a week of treatment

Kadaba, May 22: Padmanabha (48), a resident of Madejimaru in Halenerenki village, who was seriously injured in a road accident that occurred a week ago on the Subrahmanya–Uppinangady state highway at Gandibagilu in Koyla village, passed away on the night of May 18 while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Mangaluru.

The accident took place on the night of May 11 when Padmanabha was returning home from a programme near Uppinangady along with his brother Sudarshan and friends Chetan and Satish.

A collision between a mini bus and a car resulted in Padmanabha, who was in the car, sustaining severe injuries. He was immediately admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru but succumbed to his injuries after a week of treatment.

He is survived by his wife and two sons.
