Dubai, May 23: In line with its enduring commitment to community service, Fortune Group of Hotels – A Praveen Shetty Enterprise, successfully organized its 13th consecutive Blood Donation Camp on May 22. The annual event was marked by enthusiastic participation from staff, well-wishers, and community members.
This year’s edition of the camp held special significance, coinciding with the 60th wedding anniversary of Sarojini Shetty and Narayan Shetty, the proud parents of chairman - Praveen Kumar Shetty. The event turned into a heartfelt celebration of love, longevity, and legacy, intertwined with the noble cause of saving lives through blood donation.


























In his address, Praveen Shetty, chairman – Fortune Group of Hotels expressed deep gratitude to the donors and attendees, "Every drop of blood donated today carries the power to save a life tomorrow. It’s heartening to see our Fortune family, friends, well wishers and partners come together for a cause that truly defines community spirit. Organizing this camp on my parents' diamond anniversary is our humble tribute to the values of compassion and service they have instilled in us."
He further extended his appreciation to the blood donation centre, DHA – Dubai, for their dedicated efforts and partnership over the years, and to the many volunteers from KNRI Forum – Dubai, who came forward once again to support the cause.
The team from medical unit – blood donation centre, Dubai, highlighted the growing importance of regular blood donations in the region and appreciated the consistent efforts by Fortune Group of Hotels in facilitating this life-saving cause year after year.
The event was further graced by the presence of several distinguished guests from the community, whose support added immense value to the occasion. Among them were Shashidhar Nagrajappa, president of Kannada Mithraru, Kannada Patashale Dubai, and Nagraj Rao, treasurer of the same organization, both of whom have played a vital role in promoting Kannada culture and community engagement in the region. Also present were Ramanandh Shetty, Rajesh Kuttar, and Vijaykumar Shetty, whose continued encouragement and participation have been instrumental in strengthening the spirit of collective service and volunteerism. Vasu Shetty, Dubai and key supporters including BalaKrishna M Salian and Vasantha Shetty, Prachi Shetty – executive director with her corporate team members and unit heads of Fortune Group of Hotels whose unwavering support has been instrumental since the inception of this annual initiative.
The 2025 camp witnessed record participation from employees and community members alike, making it a resounding success and a testimony to the power of collective goodwill.
