Udupi, May 25: To mark the successful completion of two years of the Congress government in Karnataka, the Udupi District Youth Congress celebrated the occasion in a meaningful way by distributing fruits to underprivileged patients at the Ajjarkad Udupi District Government Hospital on Saturday.
The gesture was aimed at expressing solidarity with the common people and bringing a moment of relief to those battling illness in government hospitals.
The programme witnessed the participation of several Congress leaders and Youth Congress office-bearers. Udupi District Congress president Ashok Kodavoor, State Youth Congress vice president Manjunath Chetti, and general secretaries Sonia and Sanjay Acharya were among the dignitaries present.





Also present were Krishna Shetty Bajagoli, president of the Udupi District Youth Congress, and former District Youth Congress presidents Vishwas Amin and Naveen Saliyan. The event was supported by Youth Congress vice presidents Pramod Poojary, Arjun Nayari, Atif Kapu, and secretaries Yogish Inna, Manjunath Jogi, and Pradeep Shetty Nallur, among others.
Speaking on the occasion, the leaders highlighted that the Congress government under Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and deputy CM D K Shivakumar has stayed true to its promises and has brought visible changes in people’s lives over the past two years. They added that the Youth Congress remains committed to public service and grassroots engagement.
The fruit distribution event was carried out with warmth and care, drawing appreciation from patients and hospital staff alike.
