Udupi, May 30: Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, bishop of the diocese of Udupi, released the list of priestly transfers within the diocese on Friday, May 30.

Among the major transfers announced, Fr Stephen D’Souza has been appointed as the chancellor and diocesan coordinator of Pastoral Commissions. Fr Ashwin Prakash Aranha, currently serving as the diocesan director of the Commission for Seminary, Formation, and Religious, has taken on an additional responsibility as the diocesan director of the Commission for Proclamation and Evangelization.

Fr Jitesh Irol Castelino will serve as the diocesan director of the Biblical and Catechetical Commissions at Anugraha. Fr Dr Roshan has been appointed as the parochial administrator of Pamboor, while Fr Henry Mascarenhas will serve as the parochial administrator of Ajekar.

Several other priestly transfers have also taken place across various parishes in the diocese.
