New Delhi, May 31: Fr Ajith B Menezes has been appointed associate director of St John’s Medical College and St John’s Research Institute, part of the St John’s National Academy of Health Sciences, Bengaluru. His appointment was confirmed during the 149th meeting of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India (CBCI) Standing Committee.
Fr Menezes, a native of Bantwal in Dakshina Kannada, belongs to the Diocese of Mangaluru. He was born in 1979 and holds a diploma in civil engineering, a master’s degree in human resources development, and an MBA with a specialisation in healthcare management.
He has earlier served in several key administrative roles including assistant director and director in-charge at St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor. He has also worked as assistant administrator and administrator of Father Muller Medical College Hospital, and as administrator of Father Muller College of Allied Health Sciences and Father Muller College of Physiotherapy.
