Omzoor parish launches Holy Family statue pilgrimage for Jubilee year of hope 2025

Media Release

Mangaluru, Jun 1: The pilgrimage of the Holy Family statues has officially begun at Holy Family Church, Omzoor, as part of the Jubilee Year of Hope 2025.

During the solemn Eucharistic celebration, parish priest Fr William Menezes, along with assistant parish priest Fr Victor D’Souza, blessed the statues that will journey from house to house across all 18 wards of the parish. Each household will host the statues for a day, providing families a special opportunity to come together in prayer and reflection.

During the pilgrimage, prayers including the Rosary and the Novena to the Holy Family will be conducted in each home, fostering a spirit of devotion and spiritual renewal.

This meaningful initiative aims to strengthen family bonds, deepen faith, and unite the parish community in prayer as they welcome the Holy Family into their homes throughout the Jubilee Year.

The pilgrimage will conclude in December 2025.
