Puttur: Palemar says Nothing Provocative in Prabhakar Bhat's Speech, SP Blames Both Groups

Puttur: ‘Nothing Provocative in Dr Prbhakar Bhat’s Address’ – Palemar

Daijiworld Media Network – Puttur (SP)

Puttur, Jan 25: Dakshina Kannada district in-charge minister, Krishna J Pelamar, visited Uppinangady in the taluk on Tuesday January 24 along with several people’s representatives belonging to his party and surveyed the location where Hindu Samajotsava was held here, and also the spot where frictions had taken place.

Speaking to press persons, he felt that there were no communally provocative remarks in the address delivered by leader of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat, on January 22.

He felt that making reverence to things like Love Jihad, religious conversion, cow slaughter, and nationally relevant challenge of terrorism do not have anything that is provocative. He noted that Dr Bhat, leader of a Hindu organization, has been guiding people since many years. He felt that whatever Bhat said that day were in the form of warning signals to the Hindus and not communally provocative in nature.

“Hindus from the district have not created problems for programmes being organized by people from other religions. However, there is a preconceived conspiracy to disturb Hindu Samajotsava. Congress has been playing games in this connection. It has been encouraging people to give rise to disturbances with the tacit aim of appeasing the minorities,” he alleged.

The minister, who asserted that the state government is committed to accord protection for everyone, said that he will hold discussions with the superintendent of police in this regard.

The minister was accompanied by state assembly deputy speaker, N Yogeesh Bhat, MP, Nalin Kumar Kateel, zilla panchayat president, K T Shyalaja Bhat, MLA, Mallika Prasad, MLC, Capt Ganesh Karnik, and district president of BJP, Padmanabha Kottary.

Puttur: 'Both Groups at Fault’, says SP

Daijiworld Media Network – Puttur (SP)

Puttur, Jan 25: Dakshina Kannada district superintendent of police Abhishek Goyal observed that wrongs had been committed by both the groups relating to the disturbances, and requested people to help his department to maintain law and order. He informed that the police department will not register cases against innocent people, will not come under the influence of any persons, and will book those against whom evidences are available.

He was addressing a peace committee meeting organized at the office of the assistant commissioner here on Tuesday.

Dakshina Kannada district deputy commissioner N S Channappa Gowda requested people belonging to different religions to pay more stress on preventing recurrence of such incidents in future, rather than harping on and analyzing past mistakes and lapses. He was referring to communal disturbances which had occurred at Uppinangady on Sunday.

He requested everyone to extend a helping hand to the district administration in maintaining law and order and told the participants that the police department has been investigating the incident that occurred at Uppinangady from all angles.

Vishwa Hindu Parishat leader, Radhakrishna Bhat, Uppinangady Jumma Masjid secretary, Isubu Pedamale, Muralikrishna Hamsatadka of Bajrang Dal, Rev Fijay Harvin, and some others came up with their opinions at the meeting.

Puttur assistant SP, M N Anuchet, was present. Tahsildar, M Dase Gowda, welcomed. Assistant commissioner, Mudraje Sundar Bhat, proposed vote of thanks.

This district is famous for knowledgeable & smart people, it boasts of creating five nationalised & three prominent local banks, for bringing up highest number of Medical & other professional colleges, best of the private & Govt hospitals and more... For the last few days so many national & international events had taken place in this region and still going on…
But our aged & rigid leaders have not changed a bit and still harping on the past and destroying the future of so many promising young blood of this region.
Please talk development, talk about home for homeless, talk about providing clean drinking water, talk about innovative rural toilets, talk about better mid-day meals for the poor student, talk about cycle as reward to rural poor children to discourage school -outs, talk about keeping the cities & towns clean, talk about drug abuse by students & alarming number of HIV carriers… and talk about so many positively elevating and unity in diversity topics.
If your religion is better, than my religion is the best. If your religion is best then my religion... Where it will end?
The hardcore protectors of religion should take voluntary retirement and let the GenNext take over. Our young bloods are impatient and they don't want your cock & bull story. They want development, they want employment, they want comfortable income to lead a decent life and they want to work hard to achieve it... Stop this for God’s sake stop it!

No organization nor individual required to protect Hinduism. It has overcome all sorts of attack internal or external. The problem is with in. Some vested group pretended to protect the hinduism. First they destroyed the hinduism by creating the VARNASHRAMA. They brought in MANU to propagate their philosophy and pushed hinduism to serve only their interest. Now they compel others to believe that they are the protectors of Hinduism. They are protecting only BRAHMINISM. They are using those whom they condemned once.

Palamar needs his name in good books of P BHATTA & P.B needs cheap publicity in media. The development shows there could be early poll in Karnataka in which kalladka want to have a launching pad.BJP s divisive politics will not bring any mileage in electoral politics.Palamar's statement is unfortunate and politics of connivance.

“O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allâh and be just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is Well Acquainted with what you do. (Al-Quran 5:8)

The greatest duty (dharma) of the king was to take action against the impious and guilty and protect the pious and innocent. He should never flee from battle. Those who knew dharma expected the king to exhibit both forbearance (kshama) and rage (krodha), be generous (dana) and be ungenerous, cause fear (bhaya) and remove fear, extend aid (anugraha) and impose penalty (nigraha), depending on the circumstances.
