Hyderabad, Jun 4: The decomposed body of an unidentified woman, estimated to be between 25 and 35 years old, was discovered stuffed inside a trolley bag and abandoned in the bushes of Bachupally area on Wednesday, police said.

Officials suspect the woman was killed elsewhere before her body was concealed in the bag and dumped at the site around 10 to 15 days ago, according to a senior police officer.

The grim discovery was made after passersby noticed a foul smell near the bushes and alerted the authorities. Upon arrival, police opened the trolley bag and found the badly decomposed body.

Authorities have informed neighboring police stations to check for any missing person reports matching the description. The exact cause of death remains unknown, and the body has been sent to a government hospital for postmortem examination.

A case has been registered at Bachupally police station, and investigations are ongoing.
