Hate speech case filed against man for provocative remarks near Kadaba police station

Kadaba, Jun 5: A case has been registered against Naveen Neriya for allegedly delivering a hate speech and making provocative statements targeting the police and the public near the Kadaba police station.

On the evening of June 4, leaders of various religious organizations had gathered near the road connecting Kadaba–Subrahmanya road to the Kadaba police station. During this time, Naveen Neriya reportedly made inflammatory remarks directed at the police and incited the public present at the spot through his speech.

Considering the potential threat to law and order, the Kadaba police registered a case against him under IPC Section 353(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023. The case has been filed under FIR number 42/2025. An investigation is currently underway, and further legal action will be taken accordingly.
