Mangaluru, Jun 6: The valedictory ceremony of the Global Youth Summit – 2025 international conference was held on June 6 at the Yendurance Zone Auditorium, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Deralakatte.
Prof P L Dharma, vice chancellor of Mangalore University, in his address as chief guest, emphasised that patience, tolerance, and discipline are essential ingredients for achieving excellence. He said that individuals must cultivate noble ideals and values in life.







Organised jointly by the State NSS Cell, department of youth empowerment and sports, government of Karnataka, and Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), this three-day international summit was hosted on the university campus.
Dr M Vijayakumar, vice chancellor of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), presided over the function and, in his presidential address, encouraged participants to reflect on the key messages of the summit and strive for personal growth and achievement in life.
Dr Pratap Lingayya, state NSS officer, presented an overview of the summit proceedings. Other dignitaries present on the occasion included Nadoja Woode P Krishna, president of Karnataka Gandhi Smaraka Nidhi, Ameer Bava, finance officer, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), and Ashwini Shetty, organizing secretary.
Navya extended a warm welcome, to the gathering. The vote of thanks was delivered by Priya delivered the vote of thanks. Shifali hosted the event.
More than 650 youth delegates from 20 states of India and youth representatives from 15 countries participated in the conference. The event featured 8 keynote lectures and 3 panel discussions, enriched by the participation of both national and international resource persons.
