Mysuru, Jun 9: The sixth day of the Novena devotion in preparation for the grand annual feast of St Anthony was prayerfully celebrated on Monday, June 9 at St Anthony's Basilica, Dornahalli, Mysuru.

The solemn Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Fr Avinash, parish priest of Our Lady of Victories Church, Somwarpet. He was joined in the celebration by Fr David Sagayaraj, rector of St Anthony's Basilica, and Fr Praveen Pedru, administrator of the Basilica.

The theme for the day’s Novena was “Hope establishes justice,” reminding the faithful that a hopeful heart leads to a just and compassionate society, rooted in truth and divine grace.

Following the Holy Mass, the Novena prayers were offered in honour of St Anthony, seeking his powerful intercession for the personal and collective intentions of the devotees. The day’s devotion concluded with the procession of the holy statue of St Anthony, followed by the benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, leaving the faithful spiritually nourished and filled with renewed hope.
