To commemorate this silver jubilee, the management has planned a series of events, with a special Konkani musical evening scheduled for July 5. The event promises to be a cultural treat, celebrating the essence of Konkani music and dance.
The highlight of the evening will be a musical extravaganza led by renowned music director Sanjay Rodrigues, known for his ground-breaking contributions to modern Konkani music. Joining him on stage will be some of the finest Konkani singing talents from the coastal belt, delivering a blend of classic and contemporary melodies.
Adding energy and flair to the celebration, Urban Groove Dance Academy, under the direction of Avil D’Cruz, will present a dynamic display of choreographed dance performances, bringing rhythm and visual brilliance to the event.
The programme is set to take place at St Agnes Centenary Auditorium, beginning promptly at 5:30 pm and concluding by 8:30 pm. Entry free. Seats on first come, first serve basis.
