Kundapur, Jun 12: Heena Kousar (32), a resident of Vittalwadi, JLB Road in Vaderhobli village near Kundapur, has been missing for the past three days, and there has been no trace of her so far.

The police have launched a search operation from all possible angles, but no information has emerged yet. Her mobile phone has also been switched off. Upon learning about his wife's disappearance, her husband Mohammed Iqbal, who was working abroad, returned home immediately.

According to reports, Heena Kousar, who lived with her mother and two children, left home around 5 am on June 9. She left her scooter near the Kodi bridge, along with a pair of slippers and what appeared to be a death note, leading to suspicion that she may have jumped into the Panchagangavalli River.

Fire and emergency services personnel and police searched the river extensively throughout the day. However, preliminary investigation has revealed that the story of her jumping into the river was fabricated, and she did not actually do so.

Coincidentally, on the same day, June 9, another person, Sahil (27), a resident of Santhosh Nagar in Hemmadi, also went missing. Police are searching for him as well, but there are no leads in his case either.
