Public entry restricted to islands in Udupi sistrict from 6 PM to 6 AM

Udupi, Jun 12: In view of maintaining public interest and law and order, and to curb illegal activities, the deputy commissioner of Udupi district, Dr K Vidyakumari has issued an order restricting public access to all 50 islands in the district.

As per the order, no individual is allowed to enter or conduct any activity on these islands between 6 PM and 6 AM. This measure is intended to ensure safety and prevent any unlawful acts during night hours.

The district administration has further stated that any violation of this order will attract legal action.
