Mangaluru, Jun 13: Kaushik, a youth who was critically injured in a stabbing incident in Yeyyadi on June 6, has tragically succumbed to his injuries.
The incident, believed to be a revenge attack, had occurred in broad daylight when Kaushik was stabbed near his abdomen by two individuals—Brijesh Shetty and Ganesh from Bejai. The assault was reportedly rooted in a prior altercation that took place about a month ago. During that earlier dispute, Brijesh had allegedly assaulted Kaushik, and Kaushik is said to have retaliated, leading to heightened tensions between the two.

Kaushik had been battling for his life since the attack, but despite medical efforts, he passed away due to the severity of his injuries.
Police are continuing their investigation, and further legal action is expected against the accused.
